Mt Conness East Ridge, site of our Conness Descent Adventure (it's easy, he said. We'll be down in no time, he said).
Weird clouds. Me no likey.
Could this BE any more beautiful? The answer is no. No, it could not be more beautiful.
Wonder what the rest of that cloud looks like...
Yes, I stuck my toes in. And yep, cold.
I ran up a rock pile to get a view of the southernmost Conness Lake. Also gorgeous (shocker).
Looking back on the lower Conness Lakes.
Descending. Clouds were turning into the more familiar sierra stormy looking things and I wanted to get home before dark, so our exploration was done for the day.
I wonder if there are fish up here?
North Peak and clouds.
Back at the waterfall. Gor.Geous.
Back at the Greenstone Lake inlet.
Greenstone Lake.
As we walked back along Saddlebag Lake we saw a bald eagle soaring above. He was pretty far and my camera doesn't have a great zoom lens on it so this is the best I snagged. Still awesome!
