I learned about this from one of Bill Mann's books. It's a concrete boat at an abandoned desert homestead site. It seems that noah once lived here, although how he planned on floating through the Mojave in an upside-down concrete boat is beyond me.
As we worked our way over to 58 we took several backroads so that we could check out this (operational) church. In the middle of nowhere, it's a popular movie set. It's probably most famous as the El Paso Wedding Chapel in Kill Bill, one of my favorite movies.
