David takes in the views. At this point the trail started going up, and even though it was still easy and maintained, the crowds dropped off significantly.
Turtlehead Peak. I didn't take many pictures on the way up. The approach is via a steep chute - no maintained trail exists and the use trails are narrow and rocky. It's not hard for the seasoned desert hiker, but it is slow going.
