Rushing creek. I crossed this at about the same time last year when I climbed Tioga Peak and it was nearly dry.
From Laurel Mountain, Gardisky Lakes, and a stormy Sierra (07.30-31.2011)
From Emigrant Wilderness: Bear Lake Backpack (07.16-17.2011)
A couple of hours earlier the rock in the foreground was dry - I had stood on it to get water.
By evening the water was up a couple of feet from either in the day. Brrr.

We are still heading up. 3000+ feet of climbing on the first day, wheeee.
Cliff Creek - trail is a bit overgrown but there are beautiful flowers.

Snow Creek, just above the falls
Small fall along Snow Creek
Found a great fishing hole - pulled out brookies and rainbows on almost every cast. Several strikes each time. They were pretty small though - decided not to keep any for a meal, although david did.
Creek crossing - this is a 'small' feeder creek. Needed to cross on a log or get wet to knees.
From Chilnualna Falls Backpack (06.12-13.2010)
Morning by camp - it was cold but warmed up fast once the sun hit us.
