Alligator! My first sighting in the wild.
More alligators. They are like bison at Yellowstone - exciting until you've seen a million others.
Flamingos in the distance
Checked into my room at Cocoa Beach Hilton. Not a bad view.

Lots of little shells along the beach.
And even more man o' war jellyfish. Yikes.

A kid had helpfully circled all of the beached jellyfish. :)
The next morning our conference group arrived at Kennedy Space Center long before the tourist crowds.

A Booster from SpaceX Falcon Heavy Launch was still sitting on its transport trailer behind the scenes. Super excited to have been able to see it!
Close up of the used and landed SpaceX FalconHeavy Booster. You can see where the legs folded out (and kept the body from burning).
Our meeting was inside the building where the shuttle Atlantis is now on display. What a sight, walking in under this! It's so much bigger than I imagined.
Space Shuttle Atlantis
I had to take a meeting outside and was back next to the Falcon Heavy booster. Still in awe.
