We did the 4 mile round trip ski to the Swampy hut. It had a stove inside and would have been a nice place to stop for a hot chocolate if 1) we weren't running out of daylight and 2) it was cold enough to want hot chocolate.
Since we didn't feel like skiing on ice again, we decided to head north to Smith rock, a popular climbing spot. Although we didn't bring our climbing gear along, we still figured a nice hike to check out the place was worth it.

There was chalk everywhere. Made me miss my climbing gear.

Later that afternoon we returned to our hotel and walked over to the Deschutes production facility to see if we could get in on a tour. They were full but we did get some tastes. Wasn't greatly impressed. Crowded and there are much better places in town without the crowds.
