It always comes together - this year Robin's mashers were the star. Mmmm.
A Thanksgiving feast in the middle of Nowhere, The Desert. With great friends. What more can I ask for?
Inside the Corral, where we 'circled the wagons'. Campfire pit in the middle surrounded by the vehicles. We even had neighborhoods - upper corral (for us high-falutin' types), mid corral for those who wanted to be as awesome as us, and lower corral ghetto.
There were some old homestead ruins near the corral.
There was a cellar near the homestead that is currently occupied by a bat. he was cute. But unfortunately I didn't get any pictures of him.

A bit of blacklight reveals all sorts of interesting desert creatures. Here's part of a scorpion. David found some live ones too.
