After spending our afternoon enjoying fall colors in the Rockies we drove down towards Moab and camped along highway 128 next to the Colorado River. This is sunset from our campsite right on the river. Nice!
Sunset from camp. We rolled in right at sunset so didn't get a good view of the area until the next morning.
The next morning. Great view!
Driving 128 towards Moab
Stopping for lots of pictures. Colorado river on the left.
We got to Arches National Park pretty early in the day.
Our first stop in the park was Park Boulevard, a short hike between some impressive walls and formations.
Knarl along Park Boulevard
While the macro views are quite impressive, the micro is worthy of attention as well.
We drove out a fun 4x4 road for a few miles to the edge of the park. There are some Sauropod tracks right next to the 4x4 trail.
My feet are big. But not dinosaur big.
Some critter came through here a long time ago.
